Hey guys, I hope you are all enjoying the first few weeks of 2016!

I am currently in LA and getting ready to glam up for the Red Carpet at the Golden Globes but I thought I’d share a few snaps with you in the mean time 😉

My goal this year is to write a travel post for you every weekend so that there is a constant flow of inspiration and you guys can expect to see something different every week. Weekdays I will save for a style and lifestyle posts.

So here is this Sunday’s escape…….to the Dubai Marina, one of my favourite spots in the UAE. I am always so mesmerised by tall shining buildings, especially when they are gleaming in the sunshine, so this area in Dubai was perfect for me to take some snaps of my outfit.

The marina is great for a wander if you are visiting, there’s a mall, tonnes of restaurants and of course there’s the added bonus of being able to hop on a yacht for an hour to two 😉

We went for lunch at a great place called The Scene, which I would thoroughly recommend, it has a short and sweet mixed menu and the views are gorgeous. I would advise any of the restaurants in Pier 7 if you are looking for somewhere cool and swanky with the added bonus of great views.

As a little side note on my outfit, if you are dining in Dubai take a blanket scarf with you incase you have to cover up, most places are fine as they are occupied heavily by expats but to respect the countries traditions you should always be ready to cover shoulders and knees if you are in the presence of local families and groups. I had one with me at all times and I would definitely advise you do the same.

I’m off to get ready now, I’m so excited to be able to speak to you all live from the Red Carpet! Make sure you’re following @eonlineUK for access all areas, see you then!

I’m in love with your shoes. I ssooo love them. Anyway, great read and I have been living in Dubai for a while now. Dubai Marina is indeed one of the best places here. Tall glam up buildings and fine dining. I generally check in to Atelier M everytime I’m there, but would love to The Scene.
