Eden Roc Miami Beach

Year on year thousands of us Brits head out to Miami to enjoy the beautiful beaches, trendy hotels & restaurants and vibrant party scene. Florida’s glamorously stylish City really does have it all!

Last month I travelled to the swanky destination as part of a hosted press stay, it was my second visit to Florida’s fast developing city and it certainly won’t be my last! The cool and calm ethos familiarly drew me in from the moment I stepped off of the plane.

During the visit I split my stay between Miami’s iconic Biltmore Hotel and Eden Roc Resort Hotel, the go-to spot for those wanting the perfect summer mix of party and pamper and the famous home from home for my famous E! sisters 😉 In a city known for it’s hipster style Art Deco buildings, Eden Roc Resort is the perfect mix of Modern design whilst staying true to Miami’s trendsetting architecture.

Upon arrival at the famous resort I was shown to my room which was rather dreamily based on the top floor with the most incredible view of the beached fringed city below. The room was amazing, absolutely huge and laid out perfectly to ensure guests are able to soak up every opportunity to enjoy the fabulous and unique Ocean View. Travelling to the US from Portugal left me on the right side of jet lag so I was able to wake up every morning to a freshly choreographed dance of pink across the skies and the soothing sound of the waves reaching the shore.

Each morning I ordered breakfast up to my room. The hotel which is also home to the famous Nobu restaurant offers a wide spread for guests who chose to venture down to the restaurant but I couldn’t resist ordering up a plate or two to enjoy on my balcony. After breakfast I worked out at the hotel’s gym, which was the best start to my mornings! The fitness and spa areas at Eden Roc were a real highlight for me, the gym had everything, ample space, brand spanking new equipment, complimentary snacks, towels and water, then to top it all off an awesome view of the ocean in front of the cardio machines. A gym like this could entice the laziest of guests!

Now mentioning amazing views, the hotel has direct access to one of the most beautiful stretches of sand in Miami, it’s easy to see how the Eden Roc is often described as an Oceanside Treasure! Miami beach is fully public but the hotel does have a private set up of sun loungers and beverage waiters allowing guests to enjoy the luxury of the 4 star resort on the open sand. Having travelled to Miami before I loved being in this particular area of the city as the sandy white beach and bright blue ocean was shared with far fewer people than in the centre of South beach and yet the atmosphere was just as vibrant and hip.

In the communal outdoor areas of the resort, cool eclectic music plays most days making it a pretty perfect location to wind down before or after your day’s activities but with the choice of two large pools or a wander down to the ocean it’s easy to make a full day of it, especially with Miami’s enviable warm weather. The hotel’s glamorous and modern spa is also an inviting way to indulge with a number of bespoke therapy treatments and a luxurious relaxation room to unwind in.

If you are looking for a modern and luxurious beachfront hotel in Miami I would highly recommend Eden Roc Resort. Miami carries the majority of Florida’s suave and Eden Roc is the perfect base to witness this. It’s great for young couples or trip with a group of friends. It’s definitely a place to see and be seen.
