Since my E! Makeover back in January I have steered clear of a bright red lipstick for fear of it not suiting my new bronde locks. When my hair was long and dark a red lip was my go to but since being blonder I’ve been opting for pinky nudes or brown tone lip colours.

On my latest trip to Portugal though, I found a red lippy in my travel make-up bag that snuck it’s way in and I thought I’d give it another try 😉 I am so glad I did! This red lip is a one of Lancome’s best sellers and boy can I see why. This is the their iconic Rouge in Love (159B) lipstick and oh, my, it’s beautiful.

The colour you guys can judge for yourself but also know that the texture is perfect – I have honestly found the best red lip and I am so excited! It has a beautiful creamy texture and even though it finishes glossy rather than matt the staying power is incredible, I wore this lip into town for dinner and ice cream and it was still shining brightly and in tact on my return home.

You know when you get really exceed about a new make-up product when you plan an entire look around it 😉 This dress was such a steal, it’s only £7.99 from Zara which is ridiculous. I love the square neck and the body con fit. Simple with a dash of colour from my accessories and I think it looks so much more expensive. I love finds like this, if you see any other colours let me know, I intend to stock up!
