After quite a few recent requests I wanted to take the time today to share my recent make-up routine with you all………I recently filmed getting ready on my snap chat (sabrina.chakici) but for those of you who missed out here’s the products I have been using recently.Clutch and carry on - sabrina chakici - fashion blogger - make up blog - sabrina chakici-17
OK, let’s start at the very beginning………foundation.

On a good skin day I will wear my Perricone MD foundation serum, this is honestly one of my all time favourite products. You apply this like a serum and it works almost like a BB cream, it evens out my skin tone and gives me a little bit of coverage and glow. I am wearing this in these pictures.

If I need a little bit more coverage I’ll wear the Laura Mercier oil free silk creme. This is one of my favourite foundations it gives me great coverage and a smooth matte finish without making my skin look cakey or dull. I apply my foundation with the Real Techniques foundation brush.Clutch and carry on - sabrina chakici - fashion blogger - make up blog - sabrina chakici-9To further enhance my base I apply concealer under my eyes, and I add a subtle contour to my cheeks.

I use Mac pro-long wear concealer under my eyes, I dab it on gently then smooth out with the Real Techniques beauty blender. I then use the Laura Mercier contour kit (an absolute godsend!). This kit consists of creams rather than powders so it lasts all day and blends so beautifully. Because it’s a cream you have to really work it into your skin so I the overall finish is flawless, this kit is quite pricey but it is honestly fantastic! I apply it with the Real Techniques contour brush.

I’ll then use the highlight in my contour kit on my cheekbones and under my eyebrows.Clutch and carry on - sabrina chakici - fashion blogger - make up blog - sabrina chakici-12For blusher I am loving the Soap and Glory peach party blush. This is now one of my favourite ‘drug store’ products in the whole entire world! I can not rave about this blusher enough. The colour is stunning and the pigment is so high that it gives you the double action of a blusher and highlighter. I apply this with the Real Techniques blusher brush.

As I don’t wear eyeshadow during the day my next step is brows. I use Illamasqua brow cake. I was introduced to this product about a year ago and I haven’t used anything else since. I was dubious about using a powder as I thought it may not last long but I have never had an issue with this product disappearing during the day and it will probably last me a lifetime! It looks brand new still a year on ๐Ÿ˜‰ I apply it with a Real Techniques eyebrow brush.

I’ll then apply mascara, my fave at the moment is the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Waterproof Mascara. I have been on so many holidays recently that I really value a waterproof. It’s an amazing mascara regardless of the waterproof element as well, it keeps my long lashes curled for the day and gives me a lot of volume without clumping.

I took these photos mid-way through filming so you can’t see the full effect of my lashes in these pics ๐Ÿ˜‰Clutch and carry on - sabrina chakici - fashion blogger - make up blog - sabrina chakici-10Now everything is done I’ll use my Chanel loose powder on any shiny spots (usually my forehead and nose) and my Clinique moisture surge spray to set everything and give me a little extra moisture ๐Ÿ™‚

My favourites are Mac Cream Sheen‘s and Lipstick Queen.

If you missed out on my snap chat video and want to see more please comment below and I can arrange another ๐Ÿ˜‰ Also I must stress that I have not been sponsored or asked to create this post by anyone other than my lovely readers. All these products are my personal favourites and every product was bought and paid for by me apart from the Perricone MD foundation serum. This product was a PR gift, of which I am so thankful for as it’s now one of my favourite products!

What are your go to’s for every day wear?
