Living in London means that I rarely have the luxury of staying in one of our gorgeous hotels, however in the run up to fashion week, with so many meetings and dinners planned I decided to stay over at The Baglioni for a night or two 😉
Having visited this hotel before, and had a great experience, it is now always my first choice of residence when I need to be closer to the thick of things here in London town
After a day of shooting I checked into the hotel which is situated on Hyde Park Gate and was met by the most accommodating staff and the manager of the hotel himself, each of whom couldn’t have done more to make me feel welcome and comfortable.
The hotel is beautifully Italian inspired which rich fabrics and contemporary furniture and finishes throughout. Having stayed in this hotel before I was happy to once again be greeted by the gorgeous scent of the hallways…..I must ask what that is!
My room, a Superior King, was beautiful. Lovely and large with a large four poster bed, sofa, desk, fireplace, two TV’s and a large luxury bathroom. I especially love the lights that surround the mirror on the dressing table…..very handy for when I was getting made up for my evening drinks 😉
The restaurant downstairs is a little haven, prices are in keeping with 5* London hotels and the presentation of even the simplest order was lovely. The staff, once again, were wonderful.
With it being a home away from home for me, as I was still working around the clock I managed to make good use of the desk space, fast internet and ample light in the room! I was even lucky enough to see a royal parade just outside during a shoot……a pretty perfect day really 😉
