Emporio Armani Diamonds & an interview with Ella Eyre

This Christmas, let your scent be your sparkle……..

On Tuesday I was lucky enough to be invited to the MTV Brand New & Armani Diamonds event at Tape London. The team at Armani asked me if I would like to interview Ella Eyre who is the face of Armani Diamonds. As a fan of the brand and an uber fan of Miss Eyre, I jumped at the chance.

Not only did I get to speak to Ella, meet the MTV Brand New hopefuls and dance the night away, I was also introduced the my now new favourite scent – Emporio Armani Diamonds Violet.
I have always been a fan of ‘girly’ scents. I love perfumes that make me feel young and feminine and this particular scent is perfect for my preference. It’s such a beautiful mix of sugar and florals in a gorgeously sophisticated and chic bottle.

It’s the kind of smell you want to wear when you are all dressed up on a girls night out, it goes hand in hand with a fruity cocktail at an expensive wine bar filled with beautiful people and minimal decor. I would imagine the Victoria’s Secret models wearing this as they head out to such bar after the show 😉
At the event I was given some time with the beautiful Ella Eyre who has been a member of the Armani family for years now and the official face of Armani Diamonds Violet since June. As one of the UK’s ultimate ‘It-girls’ I thought I’d ask her for a few cheeky beauty tips too 😉

Q, Ella, you are the face of Armani Diamonds, what has been your best experience representing the brand so far?

It’s been amazing, especially seeing as Armani is such a high-end brand. They took me on at a very early stage in my career and it’s so incredible to be a part of that. Working with them has presented so many opportunities.

Q, Can you describe the scent in your own words?

Quite fruity, quite sweet. I like to say it smells like parma violet sweets. It’s great, I’ll be giving it to all my friends for christmas, that and a signed album!

Q, What’s on your Christmas wish list this year?

I’ve just bought a new house so I’ll be asking for things for the home, I need a bed actually but I will wait until the house has been renovated first.

Q, What 3 beauty products can you not live without?

Kiehls Ultimate Face Cream (here), Garnier Micellar Water to take off any make-up (here) & Giorgio Armani Luminous silk foundation (here). I’m not really a fan of wearing lots of make-up so it’s important for my foundation to be flawless and even.

Q, Finally, what’s your Favourite fashion Item for winter?

A parka – It’s the best, big and puffy – no one cares what you are wearing underneath 😉

Well, if it’s good enough for Ella (and evidently, all her friends and family now that they are receiving it for Christmas) it’s good enough for me 😉
