Following on from my recent island hopping trip with Folli Follie I wanted to share with you one of my outfits from when we were wandering the beautiful streets of Mykonos. I’d say this was my favourite look of the trip actually, the unique design of this top is simply stunning and I loved teaming it up with my Grecian lace up sandals.
On the second day of our Greek island hop we had lunch at the beautiful My Mykonos Retreat where these stunning infinity style photos were taken. This location was one of my favourites from the whole trip and we all took full advantage of the stunning views by getting our pose on! We then headed into Mykonos for another quick shoot on the stunning white cobbled streets.
I picked up this top from a cute little boutique on my recent trip to Portugal and I am so glad we spotted not only the shop but this top in particular. It’s such a beautiful cut and design, perfectly on trend with the cut out shoulders and gorgeously matching the iconic blue and white theme of the Greek Islands. It’s so swishy too! I feel like a princess in it 😀 The details are so perfect, it’s one of those items of clothing you genuinely cherish and appreciate every time you wear it. It’s by a designer from Positano Italy, Giacome Cinque and I think his location makes perfect sense with regards to his clothing designs. The Amalfi Coast is one of my favourite places, so inspiring and luxurious, it’s easy to see how these detailed and glamorous designs would be sketched there 😉 Unfortunately the collections are not available online 🙁 you have to buy them in a boutique like I did, there was also a shop in Mykonos that had it in stock as Lydia managed to snap one up, but I will be getting in touch with him directly and asking him to open a store in the UK. Honestly I am obsessed! I bought one or two other designs, I’ll be sharing those with you in some up and coming travels, I think you’ll be falling in love with this designer too 😉
My Lace up sandals are from last year’s collection and I remember buying these right at the end of the season. At the time I worried I was buying into the trend too late but I have already worn these babies so much! On trend or not they are so perfect to wear in Greece, I’ll just have to keep revisiting 😉
We were only able to roam for a short while but what I did see of Mykonos I fell in love with. The cobbled streets, white exteriors, warm weather, blue skies, stunning sunsets……the list goes on! This place will have me racing back for sure.
