It’s been the most amazing, crazy year and I want to personally thank you all for riding along with me!
Never in a million years did I think that I would be signing off the year as the Official Host of E! Uk & Ireland……I’m honestly still pinching myself. It would be an understatement to say it’s a dream come true and I am so grateful and amazed by all your support and love.
I have been lucky enough to travel to 11 different countries this year, 6 countries of which I explored for the very first time and met some amazing people along the way. It has been so amazing to see my friends progress with their lives, with engagements, move-ins, babies and weddings! I am so blessed to see my baby puppy grow up and enjoy another amazing year with the best man in the world and did I mention my new amazing job?! 😉
Clutch and Carry-on has been my baby this year and I really enjoyed every moment of working on this site, it’s not a mega-blog, it doesn’t attract thousands and pay my mortgage (in fact I have only ever earned money from one post) but it’s mine and I wouldn’t be me without it. It’s an expensive ‘hobby’ if I’m honest; paying for a photographer and spending the time on it that I do actually costs me thousands. Then, of course, there’s all the obligatory shopping – that costs money too 😉
But I didn’t create this site to make money and I am more than happy to spend the time and £’s I do as I genuinely love creating this space (providing I continue earning from my presenting career of course ;)). Seeing my followers increase week by week makes it all worth it. I also received some lovely gifts from brands from time to time which is great and I have collaborated with a number of fantastic Hotel groups this year which I intend to continue doing in 2016. That’s got to be the main reward for all of this as I live to travel!
I think it’s so easy for people to judge bloggers nowadays because there are so many superstar influencers that make such a great living and people think that it’s such an easy way to make money. When in actual fact the majority of us work our butts off and spend our own money without earning a penny. We are working on our sites, our social media, writing and creating images 24/7 – I can’t tell you the last time I actually had a full day off and I know I speak for a lot of bloggers when I say this. Everyone starts a blog for different reasons so I can’t speak for everyone but in my case it was and always will be a hobby – it just keeps me a lot busier than tennis 😉
Next year I have so many exciting projects lined up, both with E! and C&C, including another trip to LA for The Golden Globes and travelling to the Maldives with Conrad Hotel Group – and that’s just the first few months 😉

Thanks again for your support, it may not seem like a big deal but every single read, every click, every double tap is so wonderful and appreciated and makes everything so worth while 🙂
Cheers to 2016!! xX
Cheers Hun! You have been amazing this year – honestly so happy that you acheived your dream. Your blog is my all time favorite! X
Thanks so much Lottie – that honestly means the world to me x
