Dubai – The Bar & Restaurant Edit

Dubai is one of the most extravagant cities in the world, famed for the countless highly rated bars, restaurants and hotels. With so much on offer, how do you choose?

In steps C& C! πŸ˜‰ After my recent trip with the hubby, I thought I would share with you my favourite spots to eat and drink in the City.

40 Kong – A stunning rooftop bar & restaurant situated in The H Hotel. The obvious height gives the restaurant the perfect backdrop, especially in the evening, the view is just incredible!

The bar is full of beautiful waiters, the music is low key and cool and the food was amazing. I would especially recommend the yellow tail – it was divine!

Siddharta Lounge – This is a super swanky poolside bar and restaurant situated in The Grosvenor Hotel. Β The vibe here is great, with towering skyscrapers above you whilst you dine in the psychedelic ambience. The cocktail menu is fun and extensive and the food was delicious. I had the Salmon and it was amazing.

Zeta – One of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to! If you are heading into town to shop at the Dubai Mall then you HAVE to eat here. There is an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa and the Palace. It’s based near the pool at The Address Hotel. The hotel itself looks lush and the gardens are stunning. Both photos in this post were taken at Zeta.

Atmosphere – Located on the 122nd level of the tallest building in the world, The Burj Khalifa. Not for the faint hearted, if you are a regular on my snapchat you would have seen that I struggled with even sitting down here! It is an amazing experience and the drinks menu is fabulous but I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel un easy this high up. If you aren’t afraid of heights it’s not to be missed. If, like me, you can get a little giddy in the sky perhaps just enjoy the view from the ground up πŸ˜‰

White – One of the best clubs in the world – no exaggeration here! This nightclub is ridiculous. The space itself is like a sunken spaceship, looking up to the sky you feel as though you are floating through space and if you look over the edge of the walls you can see down to an amazing view of the Dubai skyline. The vibe here is electric! The obvious ‘cool crowd’ spot. I believe it’s only open on Fridays and Saturdays – DO NOT miss it!

Pier 7 – Mentioned in my Marina post, this is a really great restaurant to enjoy lunch. A small but delicious menu, great views of the marina and a really warm and friendly vibe.

Barasti Beach – So this place has no airs and graces, it’s just a really fun spot to enjoy the beach during the day and/or evening. it’s full of ex-pats and it’s not the swankiest of spots but it’s such a fun, down to earth vibe. If you are looking to party somewhere all night long in your flip flops then this place is for you! The food is great, drinks are reasonable and with an on-site ice bar – it’s definitely worth a visit πŸ˜‰

Nasimi Beach – Located in the extravagant Atlantis Hotel, this shisha bar is a great place to spend an evening. You can explore the aquarium in the hotel on the way to the bar which is a treat within itself! Then smoke a shisha at the beach with the gorgeous backdrop of the unique Atlantis building. The drinks are amazing and the service is incredible. It’s also technically a club so you can dance on the beach the whole nigh through πŸ™‚

Pai Thai – If you are looking for a ow key romantic night with great food I would recommend this restaurant. Located deep within the Jumeirah Resort, so deep you get a little boat to the entrance from the hotel lobby! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is romantic and the waiters are brilliant. I would high recommend the Red Thai Curry.

There you have it, my top picks!!

Are there any great eateries in Dubai that I missed? It’s always great to hear recommendations from you guys, if there’s any I like the sound of I may just have to head out there again πŸ˜‰
