All girls need a pamper session every now and again right? When I heard that my favourite Hotel, The Baglioni London had opened a spa I had to be one of the first to try it!
I visited the spa prior to taking afternoon tea in the hotel restaurant and I was lucky enough to have the place all to myself 🙂 The Decor is stunning, crisp and white with Japanese monochrome accents in the furniture and decor, all the while still maintaining that classy Italian feel that The Baglioni is so well known for.
They have a wide range of treatments on offer (including an oxygen facial that I must try on my next visit!) and a spacious Steam room/Turkish bath for guests to enjoy prior to treatments.
The spa itself is situated on the ground floor of the hotel next to the gym which super handy for those of you wanting to build up a sweat before the relaxation starts. They even have celebrity personal trainer, Linn Hansen on hand if you want to get in a really good workout on your trip.
For me it’s really important that there is a nice gym in any hotel I stay at as I have to work quite hard to keep trim on the go all the time, so having the addition of a personal trainer is a great touch.
As per usual, the staff were so lovely, my therapist in partiucular was fantastic during my massage, she also couldn’t have been more helpful navigating me through the spa facilities and explaining all the details of the products and treatments on offer.
The hotel offers a package deal in which you get to chose between a 50 minute deep-tissue or hot stone massage and enjoy the Italian afternoon tea with prosecco for £105.00.
Such a perfect way to spend an afternoon in London, and with the hotel being so well located you can shop the morning away on High Street Kensington, relax the entire afternoon at the spa and with some yummy treats during afternoon tea, then after dinner and drinks in the Hotel Restaurant, enjoy and evening out at Kensington Roof Gardens which is just a five minute walk from the hotel – sounds like my idea of a perfect day!
