The Conrad Hotel in Hong Kong, an idillic escape nestled amongst the hustle and bustle of this crazy but fabulous city.
The lovely team at Conrad invited me to spend a week with them in Hong Kong, as you can imagine, I jumped at the chance! I stayed in one of the hotel’s executive suites with this amazing view, the room was gorgeous, so spacious and lovely! A bed that was too comfy for my liking (as I didn’t spend enough time in it!) and a bath you could practically swim in 😉
The staff were fantastic, I can’t say anything but great words about them. They were there at every door with a smile, at the end of every phone call with kind words and in the room at every chance they got to clean up after me and leave me treats!
There is so much to do in Hong Kong (See my full post here about what to do and where to go) but it’s always nice to have a great resting spot in-between all the cultural delights.
Staying in the executive suite gave me the chance to eat breakfast in the executive suite with, again, this amazing view. The food was lovely and there was so much to choose from. As someone who loves breakfast I really struggle when a hotel doesn’t come up trumps in the morning.
The pool area was a dream! If you get a chance to relax at all during your HK stay then this little haven is perfect!
I was lucky enough to catch a later flight back to London on my last day so I grabbed a few sacred hours in the sun 😀 I am a big fan of industrial settings for outdoor pools – some of my all time favourite spots to ‘lay out’ are Las Vegas and Singapore, for this very reason. I love chilling by the water and looking up at skyscrapers……is that weird?! I genuinely love it!
At night…..the pool is even more stunning – hard to believe right?
I was invited to stay at the resort to celebrate and enjoy the Conrad 1,3,5 experience (See all the details here). It was also Conrad Hong Kong’s 25th birthday, so lots of things to celebrate and that we did! The team threw an amazing party one evening and it was one of my all time favourite events.
The scenery was mind blowing! These pictures don’t quite do it justice (my bad!) it was truly a dream setting and the spread was incredible. Numerous food stations, drinks galore and really lovely company. The team at the Conrad were, as usual, perfect. I am so pleased to be able to write about them on here because they deserve so much recognition for being such amazing hosts.
If you are ever in Hong Kong………well, you know what to do 😉
