Pictures are often described as ‘speaking a thousand words’ but when those pictures tell the story of one of the seven world wonders there’s little text needed to sandwich between each snap!
Last month I travelled to Jordan to see the mighty Petra in all it’s wanderlusting glory. The ancient city has always been on my travel radar and despite the new world online that gives us an insight into distant lands more than ever before, I wanted to see the spectacular sight for myself. Pictures can be edited, words can be exaggerated and this is now often the case online with photo editing suites built into our mobiles but when it comes to Petra, what you see online is what you stare up in awe at in real life. It’s a truly incredible place and one that looks even more inspiring in real life. That being said, here’s a story-tale style post of my pictures from our trip. It was, to this date, my favourite place to photograph and I hope you like the leisurely scroll through them all 😉This was just a photo diary so for more (helpful!) information on visiting Petra check out my other posts, 5 Day Jordan Itinerary & The Petra Bubble Luxotel.
